Regimes

For the successful ballet dancer Laura, passion and excess only occur in dancing. Yet, in everyday life, she is perhaps the most outstanding performer, and the urban scenery of St. Petersburg is her actual stage. In atmospheric and calm images, the film shows the life of an extraordinary young woman in whose daily routine the classical authoritarian body regime of Russian ballet is combined with today's regime of self-optimization.
